For the trades

Every order, itemized and paid for, in one place.

Order online under your company account and each one gets a numbered invoice, an itemized receipt you can print, and a PO field so it lands on the right job. Come tax time, export the year as a spreadsheet and hand it to whoever does your books.

The paperwork problem

You already know where the money went. Proving it is the hard part.

A hundred small purchases across a dozen jobs, on three cards, and the receipts live in a truck door. We can't fix the truck door — but anything you buy through this site is a permanent, searchable record from the second you pay for it.

A numbered invoice on every order
Each online order gets its own invoice number — DC-WEB-000123 — issued at checkout and shown on your confirmation. It's deliberately unlike the paper ticket numbers we write at the register, so nobody confuses the two.
PO or job reference at checkout
Type the job name, address, or PO number when you pay. It prints on the receipt and lands in the spreadsheet export, so an order can be matched to a job months later without anybody remembering anything.
Itemized receipts you can print
Line items, quantities, subtotal, shipping, sales tax and total paid — on one page, formatted to print clean or save as a PDF. Sign in and every receipt on the account is there.
One-click spreadsheet export
Download the whole account, or a single tax year, as a CSV: one row per order with dollars as plain numbers. It opens in Excel or imports into QuickBooks without cleanup.
Yearly and all-time totals
Your account page adds up what you've spent by year. Useful for a schedule C, and for knowing what a supplier relationship is actually worth before you ask us about pricing.

Being straight with you

What this doesn't do.

Buy something at the counter and it stays on the paper ticket the register prints — it won't show up in your account. We have two people behind that counter and no system tying the register to this site, and we'd rather say so than sell you a record-keeping tool with a hole in it.

Online orders are paid at checkout, so there's no running balance to track here — which is exactly why every receipt on this site can say “paid in full” and mean it. If you've got some other arrangement with us, that's a conversation for the counter, not something this site knows about. If you want the digital record, the order has to go through the site — a purchase made at the register can't be added to it afterwards.

Also true

The ordinary trade stuff.

Ordering vs. walking in
Everything ordered through the site ships to you — we don't prep and hold orders for a later pickup, because with two people behind the counter that's a promise we'd miss. Need it today? Walk in and buy it at the register; that's still the fastest way, it just won't produce a digital receipt.
Special orders
If we don't stock it we can usually get it in 3–7 days through our distributor. Ask for a lead time before you commit.
Written quotes
Larger lists priced in writing so you can bill the job. Send the list by phone or bring it in.
Shipping
Nationwide, priced by weight, free over $75 — and it comes with the same receipt and invoice number as everything else.
